There is an art,
to this being still
this waiting on God
takes a certain skill.
It takes prayer,
to know God’s plans
it takes strength
to stay in His hands.
It takes faith,
this quiet remaining
it takes believing
in God’s perfect timing.
It takes trust,
this knowing who God is
it takes action
to do what He says.
There is an art,
to this being still
but, it’s the only way
to know God’s will!

To be still is one of the hardest things to do. It is often a struggle of patience and impatience, right? We are called to be still and trust in Him, however, we can often times get tired of being still to listen to the voice of God and try to take care of things ourselves. But that is what causes us to fall. Being still will lead to your path, loud and clear! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
