Today is Your day Lord,
I give it to You
to do in my life
what only You can do.
I give You my mind,
to mold and to form
so You can keep it
from turning lukewarm.
I give You my heart,
to shape and contour
so You can remove
all that is impure.
I give you my soul,
to have and to own
so it can be made
Your very own home.
Today is Your day Lord,
may all that I do . . .
show my commitment
and my love for You!

“Commit thy works
unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts
shall be established.”

I especially like the second stanza. We so need Him to fan our passion to flame.

We live in a lukewarm Christian environment and when I fan my passion they try to douse the flame. I stand firm in my childlike faith. If the Bible says it then I believe it and I don’t want to argue about it! So it be written . . . so it be done! ~ Hope you have a blessed day with our Savior ~

I am having a blessed day. Hope you are too thank you for sharing. I love what you said about standing firm in childlike faith. It seems on the surface like that would be a flimsy thing (childlike) but as with most things in God’s kingdom surface appearances can be deceiving.

Yes, I did have a blessed day 🙂 Childlike faith may sound “childish” but it reminds me of just how simple the Gospel is and how over the years man has distorted it with all their interpretations, rules, laws, rites and ceremonies. It has taken me many years to get “childlike faith” to get to that level of trusting God in and for all things, to finding that wonderful, awe inspiring, perfect peace that only He can give and I wouldn’t go back to that worrisome, fearful, dead faith that was instilled in me from my childhood. Praise God I was delivered out of the bondage of works into His loving arms of grace!

Amen! I couldn’t agree more. This faith as a little child is a truly powerful thing that destroys the greatest weapons the Devil has to throw against the church.
