We are all sinners,
in need of a Savior
in our hearts we all need
God’s mercy and favor.
Some have wandered,
they’ve gone their own way
from their First Love
their hearts went astray.
Some are unsaved,
they don’t see the need
their hearts are entrenched
in worldly lust and greed.
Some just don’t believe,
there is a God at all
their hearts are harder
than a stony wall.
We are all sinners,
all are dead in our sin
but, hearts that are saved
have Jesus living in!

Hello, I’m interested in using this poem for a literary portfolio i’m working on, it’s a collection of published redemption poetry. Is this work published? If so, where?

This reminds me of Jesus’ parable about the seeds and the soil. We’re all sinners in need of saving grace. Sadly some deny it.
