Wanderer’s wandering,
roaming around
looking and searching
for what can’t be found.
Rootless and fruitless,
wanderers they are
faithless and godless
in their travels afar.
Roving and drifting,
wanderers they be
smug and ungrateful
from righteousness flee.
Nomadic problematic,
wanderers go off
leaving and parting
as God they scoff.
Wanderer’s wandering,
God wants you home
He wants your steps
to no longer roam.
Return returners,
Oh, thou to Me
come back and revisit
My love for thee.
Arrive and survive,
Oh, thou My roving rover
I will forgive your heart
a thousand times over!

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land.

Do not lose heart,
do not go astray
from the Good Shepherd
be not lead away.
Do not give up,
do not give in
do not let temptation
ever, ever win.
Do not wander,
do not roam around
do not lose the faith
that you have found.
Do not turn,
do not separate
do not get distracted
from the narrow gate.
Do not leave,
do not go your own way
do not let sin tempt you
from God to ever sway!

Isaiah 53:6
“All we like sheep
have gone astray;
we have turned
every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him
the iniquity of us all.”

Lord, You know of my wanderings,
all the places I have been
You know of all my goings out
the times I’d come back in.
You know my every footstep,
each footprint I have made
saw the ones that flourished
foretold the ones that would fade.
You know of all my ramblings,
the drifting that took me away
You know to every place I roamed
the reasons why I would stray.
You know my every footfall,
the demons I had to chase
You know of each wayward step
yet from me, You never hid Your face.
Instead, You collected up my tears,
wrote my name in Your book
for You foresaw the day I’d return
and had the patience that it took!

put thou my tears into thy bottle:
are they not in thy book?”

Are you ready to make the changes,
necessary in your life
are you willing to give the Lord
all your worldly strife?
Are you ready to stop wandering,
in the wilderness of your mind
are you ready for self-renewal
so God’s perfect will you can find?
Are you ready to make the changes,
are you ready to proclaim
that you have a Godly right
to abundant life in Jesus’ name?
The accuser may tell you,
you’re not worthy of His blessings
but you must know by now . . .
with your head, he is just messing!

Romans 12:2
King James Version
“And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God.”

Sinful ones, God sees from high,
don’t believe, don’t know why
living off sin, lust and greed
don’t believe, don’t see the need.
Foolish ones, God knows you,
don’t believe, don’t want to
working on your own defense
don’t believe, don’t see the sense.
Haughty ones, God sees you all,
don’t believe, don’t have the gall
going about your wicked day
don’t believe, don’t see the way.
Prideful ones, God calls your name,
don’t believe, don’t feel the same
moving in your careless fashion
don’t believe, don’t see His passion.
Wandering ones, God wants you back,
don’t believe, don’t see your lack
leaving behind His loving grace
don’t believe, no longer seek His face!

not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.”

Wandering wanderers,
roaming around
looking and searching
for what can’t be found.
Rootless and fruitless,
wanderers they are
useless and careless
in their travels afar.
Roving and drifting,

but they can’t see.
Nomadic problematic,

leaving and parting
going off to scoff.
