Good Morning Quote ~03.25.18~

Those Still Waters ~

When my spirit,
is weighted down
from the tension
that is all around.

My Good Shepherd,
brings to me
those still waters
where peace flows free.

When my spirit,
feels weary and spent
from all the cares
today I have met.

My Good Shepherd,
leads me to
those calming waters
where peace runs true.

When my spirit,
feels out of control
it’s in those still waters
Jesus calms my soul!

Psalm 23:2

” He leadeth me beside
the still waters.”

My Shepherd’s Care For Me ~

He goes ahead of me,
my safety comes first
He leads me to springs
to quench my thirst.

He keeps His eyes out,
for any danger ahead
He guides me to pastures
where I can be fed.

He knows where I’m at,
if I should get lost
He will seek me out
no matter the cost.

He knows if I’m tired,
He sees my weakness
He cares and loves me
for my own uniqueness.

 He is my Shepherd,
He can be yours too
if you will let Jesus . . .
lead and guide you!

My Shepherd Loves Me~

my-shepherd-loves-me-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

I have a Shepherd,
who loves me
with Him I want
to always be.

When I’m thirsty,
to streams He leads
my hunger pangs
He always feeds.

When I’m  tired,
in Him I rest
so with His peace
I can be blessed.

When I wander,
after me He goes
the way back home
He always shows.

I have a Shepherd,
who guards my heart
for it is His will . . .
that we never part!

the good shepherd giveth
his life for the sheep.”

No Wonder ~

No Wonder ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Life is full of storms,
valleys plenty deep
no wonder we need . . .
a Good Shepherd’s keep.

With so much uncertainty,
every day that we face
no wonder we need . . .
a sufficient supply of grace.

Our fears can be numerous,
our worries limitless
no wonder we need . . .
God’s mercy, measureless.

With various challenges,
we daily go through
no wonder we need . . .
God’s strength, each day anew.

So often we’re discouraged,
lost in all the confusion
no wonder we need . . .
the Holy Spirit’s infusion.

Life is full of storms,
winds so unexpected
no wonder we need to keep . . .
our eyes, heavenly directed!

When The Lord is Your Shepherd ~

The Lord is My Shepherd used with permission Doorpost Verses on Facebook
When the Lord is your Shepherd,
and you allow Him to lead
you’ll always find He’s able
to tend to your every need.

If you let Him guide you,
on sure feet you will be
and on the narrow road
you will always be.

He’ll show you His truth,
explain to you His way
light the path with His Word
to keep temptation at bay.

Whether high on a mountain,
or down low in a valley
He is guarding your steps
through each hill and alley.

He is there to direct you,
in the way you should go
with His goodness in front
His loving kindness in tow.

When the Lord is your Shepherd,
He will bring you such calm
for His path and directions
are every souls healing balm!

Isaiah 58:8
King James Version

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning,
and thine health shall spring forth speedily:
and thy righteousness shall go before thee;
the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.”

Marc Minter

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.

“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
