The evil one,
the world holds . . .
under his power
man’s heart folds.
His evil ways,
they daily obey
his wickedness
they nightly display.
The evil one,
the world’s fools
the human race
is his wicked tools.
He uses men,
to fight his fight
of making good
an evil sight.
The evil one,
the world holds . . .
hearts stony
he easily molds!
