Be Still My Soul ~
Be still my soul,
be still and rest
know for you
God has the best
Wrestle not,
with your fear
believe oh, soul
God is near.
Be calm my heart,
be clam and quiet
soak in the peace
of His Spirit.
Grapple not,
with your doubt
believe oh, heart
He’ll work things out.
Be still my soul,
oh, heart be unruffled
trust in God . . .
and be untroubled!
~~~~~~
Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.
My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him.
~ to GOD be the GLORY ~
I Know God Will ~
I know God can,
I believe He will
so I will wait . . .
and I’ll be still.
I know He’s able,
so I will trust
for Him to do
what He must.
It won’t do me,
one bit of good
to fear or doubt
as I once would.
For I have learned,
to sit and wait . . .
is better than taking
Satan’s worry bait.
I know God will,
I believe He can
so I’ll just leave . . .
this too, in His hand.
Alone With Jesus ~
Alone with Jesus,
quiet solitude
alone with love
praiseful gratitude.
Alone with Jesus,
peaceful and still
alone with hope
blissfully tranquil.
Alone with Jesus,
inner reflection
alone with grace
heartfelt affection.
Alone with Jesus,
silent meditation
alone with forgiveness
joyful resignation.
Alone with Jesus,
down on my knees
alone with Jesus
just Him and me!
My Salvation, My Peace
I wait for the stillness,
as I silently pray
I wait for the Lord
to come and enter my day.
I expect Him to draw near,
and bring me His strength
I expect Him to go with me
the full course and length.
I depend on my God,
to give me His lasting power
I depend on Him to help me
no matter the hour.
I trust in my Rock,
to defend and protect me
I trust He is my shelter
from every storm at sea.
I believe He is my Lord,
my salvation, my peace
I believe He is right here
standing within my reach.
I know that alone,
He is all that I need
I know He will guide me
and His Spirit will lead!
