The Fear Factor ~

the-fear-factor-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

Fear plugs the heart,
stops the flow of peace
it clogs up the calm
only God can release.

Fear hijacks the hope,
we need to be still
it robs the soul
of knowing God’s will.

Fear rips the faith,
right out from under us
it cripples the mind
of its eternal sureness.

Fear disables the joy,
of our salvation
it shuts down the bliss
of our future elation.

Fear stifles the peace,
of a mind that’s sound
it zaps the power
that in God we found!

and he heard me,
and delivered me
from all my fears.”

Gripped With Fear ~

gripped-with-fear-chrisian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

Gripped with fear,
worry and doubt
can’t shut anxiety
in your mind out?

Then you need God,
to release His power
so your every fear
you can overpower.

Seized by nerves,
enveloped in troubles
clinging to your fears
with white knuckles?

Then you need to let go,
of all of your cares
and give to Jesus
your burdens to bear.

If you want to shake,
fears tightening grip
seek God and from it . . .
you will easily slip!

and he heard me,
and delivered me
from all my fears.”

Give Jesus an Earful ~

he-delivered-me-from-all-my-fears Used with permission IBible Verses

Whenever you are anxious,
nervous or fearful . . .
take it straight to the cross
give Jesus an earful.

Tell Him about your cares,
your every single worry
rest with Him for a while
do not be in a hurry.

Let Him know the reasons,
you feel like you do
speak with Him as if . . .
He’s right next to  you.

In your conversation,
hold nothing back
tell Him all about
the faith that you lack.

Tarry and stay with Him,
until you begin to feel
His peace and serenity
the calmness, to be still.

When you are anxious,
give Jesus an earful . .
for He doesn’t want you
to be worried or fearful!

Give it All To Jesus ~

he-delivered-me-from-all-my-fears Used with permission IBible Verses

When I’m feeling tired,
overwhelmed with my life
I give it all to Jesus ~
He takes away my strife.

When I’m feeling burdened,
another day alone I can’t do
I give it all to Jesus ~
He makes everything new.

When I’m feeling the ache,
deep inside my soul
I give it all to Jesus ~
He fills the empty hole.

When I’m feeling the weight,
of the world on my back
I give it all to Jesus ~
He gives me what I lack.

When I’m feeling overwhelmed,
I give to Jesus all my strife
and then He reminds me . . .
with Him ~ there is eternal life!

Marc Minter

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.

“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
