I Call On God’s Name ~

I know God’s name,
I call it out . . .
whenever I’m faced
with worry or doubt.

He hears my cries,
He sees my tears . . .
my faith in Him
eases my fears.

I know God’s promise,
I hold on to it . . .
He’ll not forsake me
calms down my spirit.

He is my refuge,
my stronger tower . . .
I lean on Him
for strength and power.

I know God’s name,
I am not afraid . . .
for my trust in Him
leaves me not dismayed!

give my faith legs

Storms are not meant,
to blow us over . . .
they come so we may
run to God for cover.

They are not meant,
to take us down . . .
they arise so we may

to make us weak . . .

learn to God first seek.

They are not meant,
to make us shake . . .
they descend so we can
from apathy awake.

tis why I truly believe
by no other one
can salvation I receive.

For He is my Savior,
my Lord and my King
soon one day His peace
He is going to bring

I know God’s frame,
tis why I do so trust
for it is always good
righteous and just.

For He is my tower,
strong, high and mighty
tis why I don’t take . . .
things He says lightly.

it’s one like no other
tis why at its mention
in holy awe, I shudder!
