Swaddled in a manger,
lies a precious Baby Boy
God’s gift to the whole world
to bring it peace and joy.
Wrapped around a little Babe,
is the blanket of undying love
covering the entire world
with God’s mercy from above.
Inside of a tiny cradle,
lies our Lord and Savior
born to bring into the world
His Father’s grace and favor.
No other Gift will come,
in such a perfect bundle
none will ever be . . .
so meek and so humble.
Swaddled in a tiny manger,
for all the people to receive
lies God’s Gift of Salvation . . .
if in Jesus they’d believe!
