There’s power in prayer,
there is a mighty force
whenever we go to
the Almighty source.
There’s hope in prayer,
it’s our defense and shield
when to God our hearts
we give to Him and yield.
There’s conviction in prayer,
it’s our eternal assurance
it helps us to run the race
with patience and endurance.
There’s joy in prayer,
it’s the means to happiness
for when we trust God
it brings His heart gladness.
There’s power in prayer,
just go to the Almighty source
there’s strength and greatness
behind His mighty force!
