Whatever God Wills ~
God can do,
whatever He wills
He can move mountains
or turn them into hills.
God can make,
the largest sea to part
He can soften
the stoniest heart.
God can heal,
the sick and the lame
He can remove
the guilt and the shame.
God can turn,
water into wine
He can change minds
cause them to His align.
Oh, the wondrous things,
God wills to do . . .
oh, the marvelous things
He can do in you!
~~~~~
“For thou art great,
and doest wondrous things:
thou art God alone.”
When In The Wilderness ~
It gets lonely,
in the wilderness
it feels lifeless
cold and treacherous.
But, when God takes us,
into the wilderness
He wants us with Him
to get down to business.
It’s easy to get lost,
in the wilderness
it can be discouraging
in the land of bitterness.
But, when we trust God,
in the wilderness
He’ll walk us through
our insecureness.
It can be very dangerous,
in the wilderness
it can be desolate
in the land of hopelessness.
But, when God has us,
in the wilderness . . .
it’s because He wants
to heal our stubbornness!
“Behold, I will do a new thing;
now it shall spring forth;
shall ye not know it? I will
even make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert.”
Living In A Fallen World ~
In a world fallen,
we’re all victims
we suffer from sin
and its symptoms.
We lie and cheat,
our neighbor’s we cuss
we’re full of envy
filled with greed and lust.
We rebel, we rise up,
we’re full of pride
our hatred for others
we do not try to hide.
We cheat and take,
we rob and we steal
babies in the womb
everyday we kill.
In a world fallen,
we are all living
and from our sins
we need forgiving.
We need God,
to heal each one
through the blood
of His precious Son.
We need Jesus,
to release the pain
so He can wash away
sin’s deadly stain.
In a world fallen,
we are all a part
and we need God’s love
in each and every heart!
“For this,
Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not kill,
Thou shalt not steal,
Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet;
and if there be
any other commandment,
it is briefly
comprehended in this saying,
namely,
Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as thyself.”
