Whatever temptation,
may come your way
nail it to the cross . . .
and there it will stay.
When lust and greed,
enter into your mind
nail them to the cross . . .
and God’s peace you’ll find.
When sinful thoughts,
have you trembling
nail them to the cross . . .
for faith strengthening.
When bitterness,
foams within your heart
nail it to the cross . . .
and your pain will depart.
For, up on the cross,
Jesus willingly died . . .
and nailed onto Him
was our sinful pride!
~~~~~~~~
Galatians 5:24
And they that are Christ’s
have crucified the flesh
with the affections and lusts.
Walking in the Spirit,
is not so easy to do
especially when you know
the world’s watching you.
For the lusts of the flesh,
must not be satisfied
for we know with Jesus
we have been crucified.
Holy Spirit walking,
takes His guidance
lest we fall under
the world’s influence.
For our natural nature,
can be easily mislead
unless we are willing
to be Holy Spirit lead.
To walk in the Spirit,
takes one step at a time
so that with God’s will
our own will align!
~~~~~~~~
Galatians 5.16
This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit,
and ye shall not fulfill
the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5.22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against
such there is no law.”

God’s gift of faith,
is offered to everyone
to all who will receive
the love of His Son.
For those who accept,
Jesus died for their sin
the battle for their soul
with satan they’ll win.
God’s gift of faith,
is for all to obtain
when from wickedness
they chose to abstain.
For those who receive,
the Spirit’s indwelling
will no longer find . . .
sinful thing’s compelling.
God’s gift of faith,
is given to everybody . . .
when they let Jesus
their own lives embody!

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live; yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live
in the flesh I live by the faith
of the Son of God, who loved
me, and gave himself for me.

Is the old man crucified,
is he nailed to the tree
have you to your past sins
finally been set him free?
For when the old man,
you finally crucify . . .
your old sinful nature
you’ll not want to satisfy.
Is your old man dead,
did he die to self and pride
have you now a heart
where Jesus can abide?
For when the new man,
you put on and wear
to the Holy Spirit wooing
you will be aware.
Is the old man truly,
in your life crucified
or has the new man . . .
been pushed aside?

Romans 6:6
Knowing this, that our old man
is crucified with him, that the
body of sin might be destroyed,
that henceforth we should
not serve sin.

Crucified for me,
for my sinful self . . .
oh, how in His death
there is eternal wealth.
Jesus died for me,
so that I might live
all of my transgressions
He came to forgive.
His death is my life,
in it I became new
for in Him . . .
I am crucified too.
Dying everyday,
to the greed and lust
in the world I no longer
pledge my faith or trust.
Grace and mercy,
are now my hearts anthem
ever since Jesus became . . .
my soul’s eternal ransom!

Absolute surrender,
Lord, I give my life to You
in absolute surrender
do what You must do.
Absolute surrender,
my mind to You I yield
in absolute surrender
so I may be Spirit filled.
Absolute surrender,
my heart is Yours to mold
in absolute surrender,
my thoughts for You to hold.
Absolute surrender,
my soul is in Your hand
in absolute surrender
on You I’ll firmly stand.
Absolute surrender,
my body to You I give
in absolute surrender
to Your will, I will live.

Who am I in Christ?
I am fearfully
and wonderfully made
I am His new creation
I am predestined
I am chosen
I am adopted
I am a son of God
I am God’s child
I am a child of light
I am a child of day
I am God’s bride
I am God’s clay
I am God’s future
I am God’s hope
I am alive to God
I am destined
I am called
~~~~~~~~~~~
I am loved
I am bought with a price
I am redeemed
I am set free from sin
I am joined to the Lord
I am alive by grace
I am justified
I am forgiven
I am sanctified
I am reconciled
I am transformed
I am renewed
I am made perfect
I am dead to sin
~~~~~~~~~~~
I am a slave to righteousness
I am baptized with the Holy Spirit
I am a partner of Christ, Jesus
I am His temple
I am His building
I am His field
I am His branch
I am His follower
I am His fellow worker
I am His ambassador
I am the salt of the earth
I am the light of the world
I am sober-minded and watchful
I am armed
I am His warrior
I am His friend
~~~~~~~~~~~
I am being trained in righteousness
I am created for good works
I am a doer of the word
I am kind
I am humble
I am meek
I am patient
I am loving
I am fruitful
I am steadfast
I am gentle
I am faithful
I am never alone
I am never hungry
I am never thirsty
~~~~~~~~~~~
I am sealed for the day of redemption
I am called to eternal glory
I am the aroma of Christ to God
I am crucified with Christ
I am not ashamed
I am a sinner
I am forgiven
I am born again
and I am going to heaven!
Who are you without Christ?
