The lulls before the storms,
are so very peaceful
it’s when to God . . .
we seem to be, less needful.
We get so relaxed,
in the calmness of serenity
it’s when to God . . .
we seem to turn, less steadily.
For, in these quiet times,
on the storms we don’t reflect
it’s when to God . . .
we seem, less likely to connect.
We get so comfortable,
it’s like, we haven’t a single care
it’s when to God . . .
we stop coming, to Him in prayer.
The quietness before the storm,
never last for very long . . .
tis why we need God in the lulls
so in the storms, we’ll be strong!

Acts 27:13,14,20
“And when the south wind blew softly,
supposing that they had obtained their
purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.
But not long after there arose against it
a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
And when neither sun nor stars in many
days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us,
all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.”
