Oh, To Know God’s Goodness ~

Oh, to know Your goodness,
Your holiness and grace
to have within my very reach
Your strength to embrace.

Then I shall never doubt,
or fall into dreaded fear
then I shall know what it’s like
to have You always near.

Oh, to understand Your anger,
Your judgments and Your wrath
to seize upon the truth
that leads to Your holy path.

Then I’d mount up on wings,
and like an eagle I’d fly and soar
then I would take off to heaven
and enter thru salvation’s door.

Oh, to find Your perfect rest,
from the weariness deep within
to find Your calm that settles me
when my life is in a tailspin.

Then I shall not be tossed,
by every wave or stormy gust
then I would find my Savior . . .
telling me in Him to always trust!

The Gift That Keeps Giving ~

I have for you a gift,
that keeps on giving
I bet it’s like no other
that you’ll be getting.

It takes a whole lifetime,
to discover its full measure
ah, but what is inside
you will forever treasure.

There is no real price,
anyone can put on it
it’s so enormous in value
that everyone it fits.

It’s bundled up and swaddled,
in mercy and eternal grace
wrapped up so ever tightly
is God’s love for you to embrace.

Please won’t you take it,
this gift is for just for you
open it up and you will see
salvation makes all things new.

It will keep on giving,
each day you’ll find more
of Jesus’ undying love
to unwrap and explore!

not just at CHRISTmas time
and the best thing about it
it won’t cost you a dime.

It’s a gift undeserving,
you could never earn it
but when you try it on
it will be the perfect fit.

If you’d like this gift,
ask Jesus into your life
confess to Him your sins
put an end to your strife.

For God has given to you,
the gift of eternal grace
in our Lord and Savior
and it’s yours to embrace!

Hand Molded ~

Hand molded,
each little curve
made with love
so God we can serve.

Formed out of clay,
a vessel to be used
in our hearts . . .
God’s Spirit was fused.

God is the Potter,
Christ is the mold
and His ways . . .
we’re to keep and hold.

Sometimes we crack,
under the pressure
but God will restore
for we’re His treasure.

Hand molded,
grace’s transformation
renewed in His love
by His sanctification!

The Table of Grace ~

At the table of grace sits a sinner,
a drunkard, a murderer and a thief
at the table of grace sits an adulterer
a liar and a denier of his own belief.

At the table of grace sits a sinner,
an abuser, a liar, an idolater
at the table of grace sits you and I
my brother, my sister, my neighbor.

At the table of grace sits Jesus,
who was beaten for our shame
at the table of grace sits the Christ
who took upon Himself our blame.

At the table of grace sits a sinner,
who partakes in the agony of His strife
at the table of grace sits our Savior
whose blood bought for all ~ eternal life!

I Can Do This ~

I can do this,
I will get through it
for I have Christ
He gives me the grit.

I can climb this,

for I have Jesus
and His power too.

I can battle this,
yes, I will win

and His strength within.

I can handle things,
this storm I can face

and His constant grace.
