God Is My Strength ~
God is my strength,
on which I daily rely . . .
for, there’s no other way
I could ever get by.
Without Him I would be,
trembling with fear . . .
but, instead He’s my Rock
who is always near.
God is my Stronghold,
He too is my Fortress
I go to Him first . . .
whenever I feel stress.
For in His High Tower,
is my shield of trust . . .
and for my salvation
it’s to Him I entrust.
God is my refuge,
in Him I’m secure . . .
He gives me the faith
to persist and endure!

and my fortress,
and my deliverer;
my God, my strength,
in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn
of my salvation,
and my high tower.

A Merciful God ~
A Tower of Strength,
a daily Retreat
a Light in the dark
a Love concrete.
A Pillar of Fire,
a solid Rock
a safe Harbor
for souls to dock.
A Fortress on High,
a Lofty Tower
a Mighty Strength
a Divine Power.
A Protecting Shield,
a Lasting Stronghold
an Anchor to grasp
a firm foothold.
A Merciful God,
a Gracious Son
a Secure Haven . . .
to whom we can run!

Under His Wings ~
Under my Fathers’ wings,
I’m shielded from every storm
for, He gathers me close to Him
keeps me safe and warm.
My Father shelters me,
from everything that harms
He covers me with His feathers
wraps me in His loving arms.
I have full protection,
under the shadow of His wings
He is the buckler of my hope
no matter what life brings.
In Him, I have assurance,
I can rise above it all
for, He gives me my own wings
to soar above each squall.
Under my Fathers’ wings,
I’m eternally protected
my faith and trust in Him . . .
keeps the two of us connected!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it's the blood of the Lamb
that washes our sins away.I believe in God's love,
I believe in His grace
I believe one day
God's judgement all will face.I believe in Heaven,
I also believe in hell . . .
I believe for eternity it's where
the unsaved will dwell.I believe in the hope,
Jesus imparts in me
I believe all can be saved
