The Broken Heart’s Cry ~
Some days I wake up,
with tears in my eyes
and to the Lord . . .
my broken heart cries.
Lord, You understand,
the way that I feel
and I know my pain . . .
only You can truly heal.
Some days I wake up,
with tears falling
and to the Lord . . .
I just start bawling.
Lord, You understand,
the reason for my grief
and I know my pain. . .
only You can bring relief.
Some days I wake up,
with hope in my eyes
and I give to the Lord . . .
my pain ~ before I rise!

The Potter Stands Ready ~
The Potter stands ready,
to patch and to restore
the broken heart of those
who can’t take anymore.
He sees the shattered soul,
all of the devastation
He knows it needs to find
in His hands, liberation.
He takes the ruined pieces,
places them upon His wheel
spins them with His mercy
so they may begin to heal.
He mends the brokenness,
with His love and grace
then with hope and peace
He fills in the empty space.
The Potter stands ready,
to mend, heal and to restore
every single broken heart
who knocks on the Potter’s door!

“And the vessel that he made of clay
was marred in the hand of the potter:
so he made it again another vessel,
as seemed good to the potter to make it.”

Words Unspoken ~
Into the vast recesses,
of a heart-broken . . .
are words left unsaid
too painful to be spoken.
Buried so deep within,
words, unable to surface
the broken heart longs . . .
for meaning and purpose.
Too hard to conjure up,
more difficult each new day
tears are the only words . . .
grieving hearts, have to say.
Words with no real rhyme,
for they cannot even reason
why they are so dry . . .
in this, the wettest of seasons.
But, they must be released,
these words, left unspoken
for it’s the only way . . .
God can heal ~ the heart broken!

Revelation 21:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.”
