Leaving Your First Love ~
Some people leave,
their First Love . . .
they lose all faith
in God above.
So they journey onward,
without His guiding light
being heaven bound
no longer in their sight.
Some people depart,
in discouragement
in God’s Word they find
no encouragement.
So they wander off,
into the world of sin
closing off the power
they once had within.
Some their First Love,
decide to up and leave
turning their back on
all that they believe.
But, God is eager,
for the lost to return
for He knows if not . . .
in hell fires they’ll burn!
~~~~~~~~~~
Nevertheless I have somewhat
against thee, because thou
hast left thy first love.
And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.
My One and Only Selfie ~
The only selfie,
I am going to take
is when I go through
the straight gate.
I can’t wait to see,
how I will look
when I see my name
written in the book.
I know I’ll be beaming,
from the light of the Son
as the picture will show
the good race I’ve won.
It will be a photo,
of glory and rewards
one that I’m looking
ever anxiously towards.
The only selfie,
I will ever take . . .
is standing with Jesus
at the straight gate!
~~~~~
“Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad
is the way, that leadeth to
destruction, and many there
be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate,
and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.”

What Are You Sowing?
Some sow to the spirit,
some sow to the flesh . . .
some will be found in the wheat
some will be left in the thresh.
Some sow seeds of goodness,
some sow seeds of evil . . .
some will be found faithful
some will be left for the devil.
Some sow seeds of love,
some sow seeds of hate . . .
some will be found victorious
some will be left at the wide gate.
Some sow seeds of generosity,
some sow seeds of greed and lust
some will be in the Book of Life
some will burnย in their disgust.
Some sow seeds of repentance,
some sow seeds of sin’s design . . .
some will be found upย in heaven
some will be left behind!

God’s Love Stays Forever True ~
People come, people go,
but God will never leave
abandon you He will not
this you must trust and believe.
People stand by, people walk,
but Jesus always stays
His love for you remains
throughout all your days.
People please, people offend,
but God will not let you down
He promises never to leave
for you He is always around.
People help, people hinder,
but Jesus will not disappoint
He is your soothing balm
your soulโs healing ointment.
People come, people go,
but Godโs love stays forever true
your name is in His Book of Life . . .
because Jesus first loved you!

Deuteronomy 31:6
King James Version
“Be strong and of a good courage,
fear not, nor be afraid of them:
for the Lord thy God,
he it is that doth go with thee;
he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Ticket To Heaven ~
I’m a citizen of heaven,
got my passport in my hand
one day I’m going to go
to the promised land.
My name’s in the book of life,
soon I’ll be heaven bound
I can hardly wait . . .
till my feet hit the ground.
Jesus has my room ready,
He’ll be there at the door
inside ย there’s gonna be
my treasures He has stored.
My ticket is in my pocket,
it says that I’ll be leaving
and soon to the Lord
in heaven, I’ll be cleaving.
I got me a reservation,
in His mansion, I will stay
and nothing gonna keep me . . .
from that promised day!
~~~~~~~
“In my Father’s house
are many mansions:
if it were not so,
I would have told you.
I go to prepare
a place for you.
And if I go and prepare
a place for you,
I will come again,
and receive you unto
myself; that where I am,
there ye may beย also.”
