The birth of baby Jesus,
our Lord and precious Savior
holds a dear place in the heart
that understands God’s favor.
For we embrace the light,
given to us on His birthday
we know Christ is the truth
to His Father ~ the only way.
We relish in the eternal joy,
of what His life means to us
we find our greatest pleasure
is learning, in Him to trust.
We understand the fragrance,
the aroma of His grace
and we can hardly wait
till we meet Him face to face.
For our Prince of Peace,
came to save us from our sin
through His almighty power
His Spirit now lives within.
Each of us, who treasures,
the offer of His eternal love
keeps our hearts and minds
on the hope from above.
So, if you want to share with us,
the True Gift of the season
then ask Jesus into your heart
and let His light be your beacon!
