Grateful Every Day ~
We don’t need a special day,
to show we are thankful
for every day to God . . .
we need to be grateful.
We can come together,
any day of the year
and share the cause behind
our joy and good cheer.
We can give our thanks,
no matter the season
a special holiday
needn’t be our only reason.
We can enter into,
the gates of thanksgiving
anytime, anywhere
without a single misgiving.
For, God doesn’t care,
when or how we show
our thankfulness to Him
He just wants to know!

“Enter into his gates
with thanksgiving,
and into his courts
with praise:
be thankful unto him,
and bless his name.”

Why I am Happy ~
Lord, You make me happy,
in You my life is complete
You bring my heart glee
whenever I’m downbeat.
Lord, You make me content,
in You I find true rest
You bring me peace
whenever I feel stressed.
Lord, You make me blissful,
in You there is only hope
You bring up my spirits
whenever I cannot cope.
Lord, You make me cheerful,
in You there’s joy all around
You bring me happiness
whenever I’m feeling down.
Lord, You make me joyful,
in You there are only smiles
You bring my life gladness
no matter what be myย trials!

more than in the time that their corn
and their wine increased.”

Be of Good Cheer ~
In this fallen world,
we’ll have pain and sorrow
but Jesus came to give us
a brighter tomorrow.
Oh, there’ll be days of defeat,
trials along with persecution
but Jesus came to overcome
the turmoil and confusion.
He knew we’d have troubles,
many worries and cares
but He came to comfort
and our burdens He does bear.
We’ll have grief and tragedy,
illnesses and disease
but He came to restore
and to set our minds at ease.
In this fallen world,
we’ll have pain and sorrow
but be of good cheer . . .
Jesus overcame our tomorrow!

John 16:33
King James Version
“These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
