Ignite me Lord,
fill me with the Spirit’s fire
until the day only You
becomes my heart’s desire.
Ignite me Lord,
set me ablaze in Your love
until the day I meet You
in heaven up above.
Ignite me Lord,
may Your Word sear my soul
until the day Your ways
become my only goal.
Ignite me Lord,
put a fire under me
until the day Your light
is all these eyes see.
Ignite me Lord,
let Your hope in me inspire
until the day of Your return
to keep others from hell’s fire!
