The helmet of salvation,
we need to wear everyday
or else the way we think
satan will begin to sway.
For, we need our minds,
protected with God’s Word
so that satan doesn’t mess
with the truth we’ve heard.
The helmet of salvation,
will safeguard all of us
from satan destroying
in God our faith and trust.
For our hope in believing,
in the things not seen
from our thoughts
satan will start to glean.
The helmet of salvation,
is a daily must wear . . .
so that we will not fall
into one of satan’s snares!
