God Brings Me Comfort ~

God brings me comfort,
when I am afflicted
He brings me peace
when I feel conflicted.

My soul He soothes,
when I’m knee deep in trouble
my heart He calms . . .
when with cares I struggle.

God brings me comfort,
when down in the valley
His love causes me . . .
to rise up and to rally.

My mind He quiets,
when filled with stress
my thoughts He stills
when with worry I wrest.

God brings me comfort,
on Him I can rely . . .
to give me peace of mind
that only He can supply!

Blessed be God, even the Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,

and the God of all comfort;

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation,
that we may be able to comfort
them which are in any trouble,
by the comfort wherewith we ourselves

Psalm 23:4

Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come unto me,
all ye that labour
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
