I rejoice in hope,
patient when need be
I pray and I pray . .
for things I can’t see.
I am still as I wait,
for God to answer me
for I know anxious . . .
is something not to be.
I get renewed,
each new day I live
I can count on God
His strength to give.
I grow not weary,
for I have eagle wings
to mount and rise
above difficult things.
I rejoice in hope,
I am anxious for not
I put my trust in God . . .
so not to be distraught!
~~~~~~
Rejoicing in hope;
patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer;.
But if we hope for that
we see not, then do we
with patience wait for it.
But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings
as eagles; they shall run, and not
be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint.
I read your poem and then again but only reading the first line of each verse. It’s truly quite powerful but comforting too.
