Of Good Courage Be ~
Be of good courage,
be glad exceedingly
for God wants to give you
His peace unceasingly.
He wants you to have,
a faith mightily strong
so you can make hope
your eternal song.
Of good courage be,
let your mind be at rest
God knows the cares
with today that you wrest.
He wants you to give Him,
all that is of concern
for His yoke is easy
just as is His burden.
Be of good courage,
rejoice and be joyful
for the One you trust
is loving and faithful

Lord, It Is You ~
Lord, it is You that I trust,
for You are just and fair
You salvation is given
to all who come in prayer.
It is in You I believe,
for You are forever faithful
Your blessings are given
to those who are grateful.
Lord, it is You that I follow,
for You will guide and lead
Your instructions are given
to all who willingly heed.
It is You that I love,
for You are good and kind
Your compassion is given
for eager heart’s to find.

You are my sun and shield
tis why my heart and soul
to You I willingly yield!

Choices ~
Life can be challenging,
with lots of highs and lows
all depending on the way
in which we have chose.
For it’s all about our choices,
we daily have to make
that determines if we keep
heading for the narrow gate.
Life can be difficult,
with lots of curves and bends
plenty of different ways
leading us to dead ends.
For it’s not always clear,
which road we need to take
but, until God shows us . . .
we need to step on the brake.
Life can be challenging,
but, it really needn’t be
if we left the choice to God . . .
every good path we would see!

But continue thou in the things
which thou hast learned and
hast been assured of, knowing
of whom thou hast learned them;
Then shalt thou understand
righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path.

Lord, Be Good To Me ~
Lord, be good to me,
as I’m waiting for You
be compassionate until
You show me what to do.
Make me strong Lord,
as I’m trusting You
give me courage until
this storm I’m through.
Lord, be gracious to me,
as I’m waiting for You
be merciful to me until
I have a clear view.
Give me patience Lord,
keep me faithful to You
give me discernment until
I know what is true.
Lord, be good to me,
as I wait upon You . . .
give me diligence until
You tell me what to do!

Give Me Patience Lord ~
Give me patience Lord,
to go the distance
be there for me
when I need assistance.
Help me to be strong,
steady and consistent
so that my trust in You
can be firmly persistent.
Give me endurance Lord,
to go the full length
be there for me . . .
when I need more strength.
Help me to be for You,
a willing able soul
so that my life You can
have complete control.
Give me patience Lord,
and endurance too
be there for me until . . .
the day I’m with You!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it's the blood of the Lamb
