To the broken-hearted,
to Me, Jesus said to come
and to their heartache
they will not succumb.
To those who are weary,
to Him, He said to run
and He’d give His rest
to each and every one.
To those heavy-laden,
loaded down with sin
Jesus said He’d give
them each peace within.
To those perishing,
new life He said He’d give
for their trespasses
He’d promised He’d forgive.
To the broken and weary,
to the heavy laden . . .
Jesus said to come to Him
for they’ll not be forsaken!
~~~~~~~~
Come unto me,
all ye that labour
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
With all He can offer us makes me wonder why more don’t have a “come” to Jesus moment!
Jesus is looking for the broken hearted, the weary, the heavy laden and perishing. We find salvation and healing with him!
