Jesus Promised Us ~

Life can be crushing,
with troubles unbearable
but, Jesus promised us . . .
all things are repairable.

It can be traumatic,
with issues terrifying
but, Jesus promised us . . .
a faith fortifying.

Life can be burdensome,
with cares overwhelming
but, Jesus promised us . . .
the Holy Spirit’s indwelling.

It can be intense,
and oh so very staggering
but, Jesus promised us . . .
with Him we’ll be gathering.

Life can be frightful,
painfully sorrowful . . .
but, Jesus promised us
a life more hopeful!
