Why Not Me ~

Some people ask God why me,
I ask Him me, why not . . .
for when I start to doubt Him
it leaves me feeling fraught.

So instead of worrying,
about what God is doing . . .
I find trusting in Him
keeps my faith renewing.

Some people ask God why,
I ask Him what for . . .
for I know good things
He has for me in store.

So rather then fretting,
over things I can’t control
I ask Him to release peace
into my heart and soul.

Some people ask God why me,
I ask Him why not me . . .
for I know He is working
in places I cannot see!
