Oh, My little sparrow,
I have given you My peace
and unto eternity . . .
it will never cease.
I have empowered you,
with My sufficient grace
but it is up to you
to seek My faithful face.
Oh, My little sparrow,
I will not let you fall
and unto eternity . . .
I’ll hear your every call.
I have given you freedom,
to fly off anywhere
but it’s up to you to take . . .
Me with you everywhere.
Oh, My little sparrow,
I have given you My calm
and unto eternity . . .
I will hold you in My palm.
But you must learn to fly,
on your own faithful wings
for you are not My puppet . . .
I hold not onto your strings!
~~~~~~~~~~
Are not two sparrows sold
for a farthing? and one of them
shall not fall on the ground
without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head
are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of
more value than many sparrows.
Lovely. I haven’t looked at those verses from the standpoint of the sparrow. Excellent!
Valerie, I love thinking of my self like a sparrow or an eagle. One is small and fragile looking while the other is bold and strong. I guess I am in between 🙂
Have a blessed day with Jesus!
