Don’t be entrapped,
by worldly things . . .
don’t get caught up
in what wealth brings.
For once Jesus,
comes into your heart
in earthly pleasures
you must not take part.
Don’t lust after things,
with your own eyeballs
lest you might fall into
one of satan’s pitfalls.
For nothing on earth,
is worth loosing your soul
so onto sinful things
let go of your hold.
Don’t think to look back,
on your old way of life . . .
just look at what happen
to Lot’s very own wife!

Poor Lot’s wife a lesson to all! Here is my prayer for you Pastor Jim for the week ahead . . . 🙏 Dear heavenly Father, continue to strengthen and inspire Pastor Jim’s ministry with the Truth, in the Light, on the Way. May you give him wisdom and the understanding as he ministers to those who are in need of these things. Prepare the hearts and minds and the souls of those he shepherds into living a victorious life. Be with Pastor Jim’s family keep them safe, healthy and fill their life’s with joy and peace and abundant hope. In Jesus name Amen 🙏

It’s such human nature to look back from where we came, but this poem is such a good reminder to keep our thought’s to look ahead and not to the past. Very good writing Deborah Ann. Blessings Always.
