False teachers,
today can be heard
feeding heresies
to their sleepy herd.
Denying to the masses,
the need for repentance
making all feel safe
with their acceptance.
False teachers,
bringing destruction
misleading the sheep
with their deception.
Rejecting the Lord’s call,
to go and sin no more
allowing tolerance
to enter the True Door.
False teachers,
preaching every Sunday
no longer advocating . . .
just how narrow is the Way!

Hi Deborah Ann.
I hope all is well with you and yours.
I was writing a comment here last night when our lights went out. Thankfully, the electricity is back on and I am able to finally make my comment.
This poem is, indeed, appropriate for the times in which we live. I’ve been working on a blog post off and on for a week and I finally was able to publish it yesterday.
My post is entitled “I Did Not Send These Prophets” which is a short Phrase from Jeremiah 23. The post is about the false prophets that have made so many mistakes in the past year or so.
It appears we have been thinking along the same lines lately.
I am going to link to your poem at the bottom of my post.

All is going well here. I am feeling much better but hubby still has some lingering issues and will be seeing a specialist in the next few weeks. Yes, I am definitely concerned for the church and how so many false teachings are misleading the body of Christ. Thank you for linking to my poem. You’re welcome, Deborah Ann. If any of your readers do check out my post, I think they will be shocked at how bad the modern false “prophets” are. I really don’t know why anyone would listen to them after they have been so wrong so many times. Thank you for sharing my post with your readers.
