The seed of sin,
is in every heart
it’s been that way
from the very start.
Once sin took hold,
it became rooted
with pride and envy
it’s now embedded.
The seed of sin,
grows just like a weed
as it cultivates
more lust and greed.
There is no heart,
that is not included
each one by sin
has become polluted.
But we who have faith,
can have victory over sin . . .
through the grace of Jesus
and His strength within!
~~~~~~
Wherefore, as by one man sin
entered into the world, and
death by sin; and so death
passed upon all men,
for that all have sinned:
Amen! Deborah, your poem’s final four verses share God’s true antidote for our sin. Blessings.
