A Bruised Heart ~
Feeling baffled,
a little confused
feeling’s hurting
heart’s been bruised?
Well God doesn’t want,
you to be crushed
so keep giving Him
your complete trust.
Feeling forsaken,
lost and alone
feeling’s exposed
right to the bone?
Well God doesn’t want,
you to feel distraught
so just give to Him
all your weary thoughts.
Feeling deceived,
wronged and misled
feeling’s raw
hurt is widespread?
Well call out to God,
tell Him how you feel
so your despair . . .
He can begin to heal!

As for me,
I will call upon God;
and the Lord shall
save me.

When I Leave This World ~
When I leave this world,
joy I am going out with
for to me heaven isn’t
a illusion or a myth.
It’s as real as the sky,
the earth and the sea
I believe there’s a room
waiting just for me.
When I leave this world,
perfect peace I’ll find
for to me heaven isn’t . . .
a fallacy of my mind.
It’s as real as the grass,
the flowers and the trees
for I believe with Jesus
it’s where I’ll forever be.
When I leave this earth,
I will be in paradise
all because of Jesus’ . . .
redeeming sacrifice!

In my Father’s house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

A Sip From God’s Mercy Cup ~
When your heart screams,
I can’t take anymore . . .
when it can no longer
continue in torment’s war.
That is when it needs,
God protective shield
so to His perfect peace
it can begin to yield.
When you heart hollers,
stop terrorizing me . . .
when it shouts out loud
why won’t you let me be.
That’s when it needs,
Jesus to console it
so He can bring His calm
into your own spirit.
When your heart comes,
to a place of giving up . . .
stop and take a long sip
from God’s mercy cup!
~~~~~~~~~~
It is of the Lord’s mercies
that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
My cup runneth over.
Easer Of My Care ~
Lord of my comfort,
easer of my care . . .
I praise You for always
being for me there.
Through all the trials,
the concern and worry
You give me the faith
to make the journey.
Lord of my grace,
forgiver of my sin
Your perfect peace
I now have within.
Though I am weak,
you’ve made me strong
no longer are You angry
for the things I did wrong.
Lord of my life,
reliever of my fear
You give me hope . . .
just knowing You’re near!
And in that day thou shalt say,
O Lord, I will praise thee:
though thou wast angry with me,
thine anger is turned away,
and thou comfortedst me.
Troubled Not ~
Trouble not your heart,
let not fear into it enter
instead keep your eyes
on God front and centered.
Then when troubles come,
you wont be dismayed
as you let God’s mercy
into your soul pervade.
Trouble not your mind,
when worries start to brew
instead keep your eyes
on your eternal view.
Then when problems come,
you won’t be confused
as you let the peace of Jesus
into your thoughts infuse.
Trouble not your heart,
neither your mind or soul
but let the love of Jesus . . .
in them take control!
and saved him out of
all his troubles.
