Intercessory prayers,
we all need to make
for we never know . . .
the bonds we might break.
For there’s plenty of people,
who are tied up in chains
and we should be praying
for their sorrows and pains.
Intercessory prayers,
we all need to be saying
for we never know . .
whose trust needs saving.
For there’s plenty of saints,
who are besieged by troubles
and we need to be praying
they give God their struggles.
Intercessory prayers,
what music to God’s ears
as for others we beseech . . .
the collection of their tears!
~~~~~~~~~~
Praying always with all prayer
and supplication in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto
with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;
Thou tellest my wanderings:
put thou my tears into thy bottle:
are they not in thy book?
It is nice to know the Holy Spirit will pray for us when we don’t know the needs of others! Have a blessed day with Jesus 🙂
