Besides stilling waters,
is where Jesus leads me
whenever from all the chaos
I long and need to be.
It is where my heart goes,
in the heat of the day
where with Him in my mind
I can linger and stay.
Besides stilling waters,
running throughout my soul
is where I ask Jesus
to regain in me control.
It is where my hopes flows,
whenever there is a drought
where with His peace I find
the abating of my doubt.
Besides stilling waters,
is where Jesus and I meet
it’s there that my fears . . .
I leave at His feet!
