God of the sparrow,
provide our winter seed
supply us with the faith
to trust You for all we need.
Shelter us in the storms,
underneath Your mighty wings
shield us from the bitterness
that winter’s harshness brings.
God of the sparrow,
furnish our winter warmth
keeps us steadfastly
upon salvation’s hearth.
Protect us in the icy chill,
be our guiding light
as we embark out into
the frigid wintry night.
God of the sparrow,
forgotten not we’ll never be
for You know just how much . . .
we are dependent on Thee!

Matthew 10:31
Fear ye not therefore,
ye are of more value
than many sparrows.
