A callus heart,
edges are rough
getting through to it
is more than tough.
But there’s one thing,
that is for sure
God it’s coarseness
can heal and cure.
A callus heart,
is thick and dense
being cynical
is its only defense.
But God can make it,
soft and pliable
so that it can be
for Him viable.
A callus heart,
is crass, coarse and cold
but God can turn it
into a heart of gold!
~~~~~~~~
“A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put within
you: and I will take away the stony
heart out of your flesh, and I wil
l give you an heart of flesh.”
