Waiting,
is just plain no fun
biding . . .
isn’t easily done.
But, God tells us,
to be still and quiet
to make daily prayer
a part of our diet.
Waiting . . .
can take so long
patience . . .
takes being strong.
But, when we follow,
Jesus’ teachings . . .
God will answer
all of our pleadings.
Waiting . . . .
is a faith trusting thing
bidding . . .
is to on Jesus cling!
~~~~~
The Lord is good unto them
that wait for him, to the
soul that seeketh him.
“If ye abide in me,
and my words abide in you,
ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you.
Well thought-out Deborah! The final stanza ties everything together. We all must learn to wait.
