There is a love song,
more beautiful than any other
lyrics so glorious
you will get lost in all its wonder.
The melody is soothing,
all your fears it will calm
to your soul it will be . . .
just like a healing balm.
It is a song sung,
with joy and gladness
over hearts awakening
from spiritual blindness.
The tune is gentle,
the rhythm is easy . . .
the message is offered
to everyone freely.
There is a joyous love song,
Jesus sings from above . .
whenever someone accepts
His life-saving love!
~~~~~~~~~~~
“The Lord thy God in the midst
of thee is mighty; he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing.”
“Come unto me,
all ye that labour
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.”
What a beautiful song! Knowing that He rejoices over us with singing has brought me much joy over the years. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I went through a time of depression, and sickness after my mother died, and I stopped writing for a long time. However, God is so patient and kind, and He has set me free from that horrible darkness and shown me that He can still use me, regardless of any pain I’m in… I just started writing again very recently. 🙂
Cheryl I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing and the following depression and sickness. I am glad the Lord was with you and led you out of the darkness that can wrap around our souls. My son died a horrible death four and half years ago. I felt that darkness but God was gracious and lifted me out of it and put me into writing daily. It helped me in ways I cannot explain as He gave me that peace that surpasses out understanding. I pray God will continue to use you in your writing and frees you of your pain. 🙏
