When into the unknown,
God has you to go
you can rest assured . . .
a way He will show.
For, before you He’s gone,
and a path He has paved
so there’s no need for you
to be fearful or afraid.
When into the uncharted,
God has you to journey
you can rest assured . . .
there’s no need to worry.
For, He has walked,
for you down that road
and has already carried
for you, your heavy load.
When into the uncharted,
or be it the unknown
you can rest assured . . .
you will not be alone!
~~~~~~~
“And the Lord, he it is that doth
go before thee; he will be with thee,
he will not fail thee,
neither forsake thee:
fear not, neither be dismayed.”
I like this a lot! It speaks, too, to where I am right now, going into the unknown with a book the Lord just recently led me to write and post on the internet covering the subject of addiction and the impacts it has on individuals, marriages, spouses and families. This is definitely the unknown and the uncharted for me. So, your poem encourages my heart, because this is the sense God is giving me about this new area of ministry he has opened up for me, that he has gone before me to prepare the way, and that he is going to use this for his purposes and for his glory and for the healing and deliverance of many people impacted by addiction. So, thank you for this poem today! It really ministered to my spirit. God bless! Sue
Sue, it really blesses me to know God blessed you with this poem. I pray God will open the doors to your new ministry and use it to save those who are lost in their addictions for surely this is HIS heart’s desire! ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
