I pray each day,
for these things
and for the peace
that they’ll bring.
For my weaknesses,
to be strong
lest I stop singing
salvation’s song.
For my daily needs,
to be met
lest God’s goodness
I forget.
For my fears,
to be set free
lest His mercy
I’ll fail to see.
For my worries,
alone not to bear
lest onto Jesus
I’ll cast not my care.
For my doubt,
to turn to trust
lest to God’s ways
I’ll not adjust.
Each new day,
before it I begin to start
I give to God . . .
the prayers on my heart!

“And all things,
whatsoever ye shall ask
in prayer,
believing,
ye shall receive.”
