Is there room for Jesus,
in your home today . . .
will you welcome Him
into your life to stay?
Or will you be too busy,
in the CHRISTmas rush
that to His very presence
you’ll give Him the brush?
Is there room for Jesus,
in your heart this year
will you welcome Him
with gladness and cheer?
Or will you be too frazzled,
with all that you’ve to do
and have no space for Him
til the holidays are through?
Is there room for Jesus,
in your life today
or will you also . . .
have to send Him away!
~~~~~
“And she brought forth her firstborn son,
and wrapped him in swaddling clothes,
and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room
for them in the inn.”
Been meditating on this part of scripture from Luke.
Beautiful poem that you wrote. Thanks for sharing.
I am placing the poem on my Facebook wall in it’s entirety giving credit to you because God gave this poem to you.
Once again, thank you and have a blessed Christmas.
I would like to see less parties and alcohol, and more people waiting for the Return of Christ at any moment…
I agree! Jesus’ first coming is a prelude to His second one . . . in which I plan to remain “sober” and vigilant until such time! ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
