Without the first rain,
there can’t be a last harvest
without the Son’s Light
all would be in darkness.
Without the spring showers,
the seed of truth can’t grow
without the fresh crops
Jesus no one would know.
Without the latter rain,
there be nothing to reap
without God’s eternal mercy
over sin, no one would weep.
Without the outpouring,
of the Holy Spirit
without the Word of God
no one for heaven would be fit.
Without the first rain,
the latter rain can’t come
so that Jesus can return
and set up His Kingdom!
~~~~~~~
“Be patient therefore,
brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.
Behold, the husbandman waiteth
for the precious fruit of the earth,
and hath long patience for it,
until he receive the
early and latter rain.”
