Lord, thank You for the blanket,
of clouds today . . .
they are helping to melt
all the snow away.
The temperature is rising,
it’s almost above freezing
and now to my comforter
I’ll not have to be squeezing.
It still is cold outside,
but, for now I am thankful
all the snow is thawing
even though it’s beautiful.
I know Winter just began,
but, I still can’t wait for Spring
so I’ll be counting the days
till daily warmth You bring.
Lord, thank You for the blanket,
of warming clouds today . . .
as to its melting all the snow
I say hallelujah and hooray!
~~~~~~~~~
“He giveth snow like wool:
he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
He casteth forth his ice like morsels:
who can stand before his cold?
He sendeth out his word,
and melteth them: he causeth
his wind to blow,
and the waters flow.”
I love sheep. I have a strong affection for them, since our last name has an associated meaning to this (in a different language.) I love the photo you used and most certainly the poem paired with it! Hugs & Blessings!
I too love sheep, and sparrows. When I think about how much God loves and cares for them I feel so comforted. ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
