Some days I just sit,
to the quiet, I listen
until in my soul
God’s peace settles in.
As I sit in the stillness,
I let my mind soar
to a place I can be
with the One I adore.
There we are together,
in the calming hush
and inside I can feel
His love begin to gush.
The quietness flows,
right into my heart
and from this moment
I never want us to part.
Some days I just sit,
listening to the quiet
and I realize how much . . .
on God’s peace I’m reliant!

he leadeth me beside
the still waters.”

It is so hard for me to quiet myself to find the peace and tranquillity you describe. What a wonderful blessing for you!
