Guard my feet Lord,
keep them from stumbling
help them to be strong
keep them from wobbling.
Guide my feet Lord,
keep them going straight
help them to proceed
through the narrow gate.
Protect my steps Lord,
keep them from tripping
make them sturdy
keep them from slipping.
Lead my feet Lord,
secure my faith walk
help them to march
to the words I talk.
Guard my feet Lord,
let them not deviate
to the world’s ways
let them not acclimate!
~~~~~~~~
“He will keep the feet of his saints,
and the wicked shall be silent
in darkness; for by strength
shall no man prevail.”
The lovely thing about the Elohim is that He uses people and events to cross our path by which we may find reasons to think about the way we are going or the path we would like to go.
Several people may take a long time before they come to understand why their life is sometimes so difficult. Each day, they may press on towards the goal in front of them though they not seem to get there. Often they also say they want to be more like Jesus, but they often seem to fail, just because they do not seem to have the right picture of that Nazarene rebbe. The biggest problem is that they prefer keeping to false human doctrines, like the trinity and the pagan feasts their churches celebrate, instead of listening to the Most High and keeping His ordinances, not having more than one God, not bowing down in front of statues and keeping His mitzvoth or commandments.
We may be happy that the Most High Elohim shall be prepared to lift those up from the swamp who call on HIm and who are willing to listen to His Word and to follow in the footsteps of people God sent into this world like the many prophets Abraham, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jesus and the talmidim the rebbe Jeshua prepared to have the goyim ready to enter too through the small gate on their way to the Kingdom of God.
