No one really likes,
someone who is clingy
someone who is always
insecure and needy.
To be around these types,
can be so irritating
for on our nerves
you’ll find them grating.
But, I am one of those,
who onto Jesus is clinging
for I know He won’t leave
my hopes dangling.
When I’m insecure,
I hang on to God’s grace
for He is never annoyed
when His mercy I embrace.
No one really likes,
someone who is clingy
but God loves the ones
who in Him, are needy!
~~~~~
“Bow down thine ear,
O Lord, hear me:
for I am poor and needy.”
I really enjoyed this poem. Sometimes in helping people you do have people that are clingy and its not easy. But this poems turns us back to the LORD who loves those who cling to Him!
Yes, when I think how much I need God I cannot help but to be more available to those who need me 🙂
