Grace restores,
the broken pieces
fills in the cracks
smooths the creases.
Grace heals,
the heart that aches
mends the wounds
patches the scrapes.
Grace renews,
the mind unraveled
reinforces the thoughts
that have been tangled.
Grace reaffirms,
the soul wanting
provides the strength
brings the calming.
Grace restores,
heals and renews
Grace always comes
to our rescue!

“Being justified freely
by his grace through
the redemption that
is in Christ Jesus:”

Reblogged this on Wings of the Wind and commented:
Grace…it is so important to a Christian. It is by grace that we are saved through faith. Deborah Ann has once again captured God’s Word through one of her poems. I feel blessed to share it with you.

Thank you Chris for this blessing and reblog 🙂 Grace saved me once and now it comes to my rescue when I mess up! Hope you are having a blessed week. When is school starting back up?

You’re welcome, Deborah Ann. Your poems always add encouragement and truth to my blog.
I understand perfectly what you have written here about grace. His grace is so sufficient.
School has started. Substitutes like me don’t usually get called until the second or third week. I was almost as busy as a full-time teacher the last several months of last year. I expect it to get busy eventually. Thank you for asking.
I am working on paperwork that will allow me to keep my Arkansas State Teaching Credential. Credentials last five years and my lapses in December. The credential gives me Teacher status in the eyes of the state so I can apply for teachers jobs that fit my qualifications.
I applied for one job this summer and the door didn’t open for me. God must want me in this substitute role for another year and I am happy to do it!
God’s blessings my friend. I hope your visit with your Son went well and I am curious how baby Samuel is doing. If you get the time, would you let me know please how Samuel and his parents are doing?
I hope you have a great day!

I will pray that God will open a door for full time employment. But, I love your attitude “God must want me in this substitute role for another year and I am happy to do it!” and it speaks to my soul to just “be happy” with whatever God has for us to do.
My visit went very good. I cried all the way home after dropping him off. Tears of thankfulness, mixed with grief, and yet filled with joy 🙂 Now my sister is coming in on Friday and will be here for a week!
Samuel is being discharged and going home 🙂 The updates are far and few in-between but I believe he has gained enough weight to go home. But, with any preemies he has some issues still and I know the family still needs our prayers.
You too have a great day . . . I’m off to spend the day with my grandsons . . . so cute, fun and tiring 🙂

Thank you for your kind words and your prayers, Deborah Ann.
It sounds like you have a great day ahead.
I’m happy to hear that you had a good visit with your son and that Samuel is going home. Both are very good news.
I will try and still remember Samuel in my prayers.
God’s blessings…:)

Is there a way to “repost” this to my blog if you are ok with that?

If you are reading this in the reader then hit the “share” button and that will allow you to post it on your blog. If you are on my actual blog you can hit the “reblog” button and it will do the same otherwise I would just do a simple copy and paste. Let me know if these work for you!
