Feel like your drifting,
pulling away . . .
feel like your paddling
making no headway?
Setbacks and defeat,
sinking you down
feel as if you’ll never
find safe, solid ground?
Loss of your focus,
has your spirit adrift
feel like your drowning
with each emotional shift.
Worry and anxiety,
floating in your head
fear and doubt
causing you dread?
Feel like your drifting,
hope slipping away . . .
then you need to let Jesus
be your anchor each day!
“Which hope we have
as an anchor of the soul,
both sure and stedfast,
and which entereth into
that within the veil;”

Well written poem. I pray God uses it to minister to those who feel like drifting away…

Thanks Pastor Jim . . . I know how often I use to drift off, and so I hope it will help those who are thinking of doing so, not to! ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~
