I’m claiming victory,
I know just who is in charge
and I believe God’s methods
are the best ones to discharge.
For this battle is not mine,
it belongs to God alone
and I truly get that . . .
His ways are not my own.
I have learned to be still,
to wait and to be quiet
and most importantly
I have learned not to quit.
For I am God’s soldier,
He’s enlisted me to fight
and in His strength I’ll win
by the power of His might.
I’m claiming my victory,
way ahead of time . . .
for I know this mountain
God will help me to climb!
~~~~~~~~~~
“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah,
and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and thou king Jehoshaphat,
Thus saith the Lord unto you,
Be not afraid nor dismayed by
reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours,
but God’s.”
Let us not worry about the storms before us,
When the floods come our way, let us not panic.
I will stand firm for my God is with me in the storm,
Through the floods, we will press on, for God is here.
